What is FTP?
FTP stands for "file transfer protocol". FTP is basically a way of sending files over the Internet at vastly increased speeds in comparison to standard emails without limits on file size, type or quantity..
An FTP program can help you with uploading information from your computer to your server and vice versa. All you do is drag the information from one window to the next.
FTP is certainly a program that will make your life a lot easier. If you are doing any kind of file transferring, whether it be from your computer to a server or from computer to computer, file transfer protocol will certainly make your job of managing files simple.

and entering the username and password provided.
For Internet Explorer version 7, it will be necessary to click on the Page menu and selecting Open > FTP Site in Windows Explorer.
All you need to do to upload a file is to then copy and paste your pictures into this open folder.
When you have uploaded your photos please send an email to ![]()
They will then email back that they have received your order and when it will be ready to collect.
If you have troubles with using Internet Explorer to access the FTP server, try turning off “Use passive ftp” in the advanced settings.
If this doesn’t work, then you will need to download and use an FTP client program. We recommend Core FTP (http://www.coreftp.com) for a PC only.
For Macintosh computers, Safari and Firefox do not workwith FTP. Use a program like Fetch which is a FREE download from the 'Link' section.
Once images are on our computer, you can't delete, move or alter them This is for security and privacy purposes only.
If you require full access priviledges then we would need to set up a private FTP account for you which we can generally do within 24 hours.
